Deposits
When you book your appointment time(s), in order to hold and confirm your appointment I'll ask you to electronically remit a $50.00 deposit via Interac e-transfer, directing the payment to [email protected]. This deposit will be taken off any session fees owing at your first appointment.
At your appointment, you may elect to pay via Interac or via the Square secure payment system through which I can accept all major credit and debit cards. Sorry, I do not accept personal cheques for deposits or session payments.
Cancellations, Missed Appointments and Rescheduling Appointments
Please note the following: If you cancel your appointment one business day or less before your appointment, or if you miss your appointment without notice, or if you reschedule your appointment on the same day of your original appointment, you will not receive a refund of the $50.00 deposit. This is because I'll be unable to utilize that time to schedule another client upon such short notice. Business days are weekdays from Monday to Friday. For example, if your appointment is on a Thursday, in order to not lose your deposit you must notify me of the change no later than end-of-day the Tuesday before. If your appointment is for a Monday, you must notify me no later than end-of-day the Thursday before.
This policy is designed to ensure that my hours and appointment times are being best utilized. Many clients have to wait one to two weeks to get an appointment on the day and time that is most convenient for them. If I’m given enough advance notice, then I’m able to schedule my clients to everyone’s satisfaction. Also, please understand that when somebody doesn’t show up or cancels at the last minute, it disrupts my schedule and I lose income. This can be detrimental to a small business.
